heh. as promised, i'll write an entry on my 3 years in MI. (:
i'm glad that God put me in MI for a reason. before i was in MI, i met up with yan ling who told me that i could help wai ling out in evangelising. (: i remembered meeting wailing for the 1st time right after orientation. (: we continued meeting on other days for bible study, learning the content of the gospel and challenging myself to share to the 1st person.
i was in 06S5 in the 1st year. Miss Chan and Miss Lim were my home tutors. (: Mr cheng was the teacher of my very 1st lessson- accounts. he's TALL and rather good looking but he's married. so oh wells. i got to know valerie and jasmine see as my classmates as they were my orientation friends. (: second lesson was GP and Mr Yew was my teacher. he asked us to form groups and introduce ourselves. that's when i got to know people like vinothini S., Wei Long, Joel, Huda and Clement. 1st assignment: presentation! x_X
unfortunately, after knowing joel, he was the environment rap and he kept irritating me! and i thought he liked me. so he was my so called "date" and he was the 1st person whom i shared the gospel to. however, his response was really bad. but that made me joyful because i finally shared with someone! i got to tell wai ling and i continued sharing with others. of which exactly one week later, i broke up with joel because he's going over to NP because of this girl that he likes. and it cost me alot of my tears. i remembered crying for about half an hour. lol. scared my family members for a moment. but this is when i learnt to step out of the whirlpool of relationship and getting a grip of my emotions. i continued meeting wai ling and she rebuked me with the word of the Lord. surprisingly, by God's grace, i was submissive when most people tend to retaliate and kick up a big fuss. that is one big change.. (: though being scolded from wai ling, it doesn't mean that i don't have a crush on people anymore. it's just that i could manage my feelings better and learn to submit to God's will. next was wai ling telling me that i need to smile more. (: this is somewhat hard for me then because i grew up frowning more than smiling. this is because i was being made fun of when i was younger. it took me sometime to smile.

of course i get to know people through other means. my special encounter was when vino felt lonely in class, i spoke to her and she felt that at least someone bother to speak english to her. i didn't know talking to her meant so much to her to help her fit into class. (: next was when cheryl was afraid to speak up in class. i'm glad vino and i made friends with her so that she will feel more belonged to the class. (: i got to know wei long when i shared the gospel to him, afterwhich i get to know clement. i got to know caiyu when she's always alone in class. so i decided to talk to her! then cheryl came in and they very very close friends. (: i got to know Miss Lim when i confided to her about joel. (:
my cca was AKE! (: get to know alot of poeple and i was HIGH. lol. got to sign up for CAT (diploma course) and get to know another group of people. at the meantime, i was trying to find christians to form a group but i couldn't.
i found out that Mr yew was a christian but he's testimonial wasn't very good. so i decided to write a letter to rebuke him. (: i hope he's living a life which is more pleasing to God now than before. (:
during the school holidays, God has brought james to himself through the movie "the nativity story" and through the gospel rally of rev Stephen Tong. Marcus shared the gospel to him as well. (:
year 2:
many people left MI and people got rearranged. i was still in 06S5 but the some 06S6 peeps joined my class. my home tutors were Miss chan and Miss loew. (: got to know rani on the 1st day of school in year 2 and then get to know natalie. nat and i clicked so well that we became very close friends.
i got to know that wailing has found regina!! as she has set up a prayer group in school. so i joined her and get to meet up with them one tuesday to see how they lead a group. this is how GAP started. as people grew, the prayer group is now changed to a christian group where we reach out to others as well as grow more in the word.

year 2 when i was more serious as i got H1 exams. (: miss Lim was my mentor! (:
i was the kulintang section leader and i volunteered to be the student conductor in AKE. trained me alot to make vital decisions and to take the lead when Miss Wee is not around.
i got to know ai ling in AKE. i invited her to GAP and she brought Jonathan. i got bring him back to church. i pray that he'll learn to trust his life to God someday unconditionally someday.
year 3:
A's coming up! thank God for my H1 results. A for PW, C for MT and E for Lit. i stopped my ministry for the 2nd half of the year because i think i should focus more on studies. Miss Leow and Miss Lim Ai Ping was my home tutors. teachers of which i feel so close with. (:
i decided to ask Mrs Wong to be my mentor because she's a Christian who has the same spiritual mindset as me. she's Shi Mu's old colleague and friend! (: she's a great mentor and helped me alot in my studying aspect as well as spiritual aspect. (:
again, people left MI in year 3 and my class is now mixed with people from 06S2'o7. my class in year 3 was 06S3. (:

and lastly, i thank God for putting me in MI. (: i thank God that he gave me the good progress awards and eagles awards. thank God for the ENTIRE 3 years as i have definitely grown alot all aspects. no matter what the results are, i'll still continue to trust Him. i pray that i'll continue to grow as i serve Him and that He'll continue to use me for the work of His kingdom. (:
