i am disapointed...
at u. it's been so long since we've been talking about this. i think God have put some people in your life to show u what He really wants u to do. what pleases Him. and i think i sort of fail to show u the value of Christ in each individual and it all starts in the gospel. i pray that He'll open your eyes some day.
i thank God that there are still guys out there who are faithful to Him, to keep His commandments and do what pleases Him as their reward is in heaven. i thank God for putting such people in your life so that u can see how u should be in the eyes of the Lord.
it's not that dating is bad. it is good. i like it too. however, i think the time now is to spent all our youth to serve the Lord as we have nothing much to worry about.
Give of your best to the Master, give of your strength of your youth. does this song ring a bell to u? i hope so. u said that God didn't say we can't continue in our lives and dating and that we should find the one that God has prepared for us. yes, u are right to say that God has prepared the one for us, but if it's not the time, he would not give it to us. don't u think that there's a possibility that the person u'll marry someday is someone that u haven't meet now? so y do u have to find the one if there's someone else next time? in the bible, God said that we should not yoke with non believers. isn't that very clear to u?? the yoke here is to be with. so do not be with the non believers. the range of being together with non belivers, ranges from dating to marriage my dear girl. i hope u understand. and God says that He will provide. He provided a wife for Moses and for Issac. and they are women who are righteous in the Lord. so how can u say that u are going to date non-christians only?? it is as bad as going against the Lord and sinning against Him. and He also said that if men know how to give other men presents, what not will the Lord give and provide for u?? when Jonah was called to preach in Nineveh, he was reluctant and ran away. but God pulled him back nevertheless. after preaching the word, he was still angry and God asked him if he had any right to be angry? his temper still wouldn't subside. so God made a vine grew one day and die the next. and Jonah was angry that the vine died. and what did the Lord say? He said: "'you have been concerned about this vine, though u did not tend it or make it grow. It sprang up overnight and died overnight. But Nineveh has more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right from their left, and many cattle as well. should i not be concerned about that great city?'" (Jonah 4: 10-11) Jonah cared for the vine which cost him nothing, but God have more than a hundred and twenty thousand of his creation in Nineveh. should He not care for them?
u see?? God cares and knows what's best for u. i am not someone who can quote verses out of the bible in an instant. however, i know the Lord's heart. it starts at the very beginning from the gospel that was preached to u. God loved us(his creation) so much that He gave His Son up to die for our sins, to later ressurecting to life, that we too may be saved. short and simple gospel but it means
alot. sins does not imply just hating, anger jealousy or slander,
but also anything that we do that displeases Him. not reconising Him as God is a sin my dear girl, because we belong to Him at the beginning. i'm thankful that u recognised that and responded to Him by choosing to believe in Him. but believing is not just that. it is also trusting ur entire lives unto Him. and when u trust ur life unto him, u do not do what u like like i wanna date and therefore i date. God calls for commitment in ALL areas of your life, my dear girl, including ur marriage life. and he'll be faithful to provide for u. u just have to wait. and remember, He never changes as He still hates sin and His word and gospel have not change and will never change. His faithfulness will last like how he did to Abraham. i hope u see the love He has for u and how precious u are to Him. i pray that u reflect on it and how u should respond to Him.
