hello.
i thank God today for His grace and mercy that i was able to attend this meeting with the chinese nationals in the Thompson Baptist Church. i like the acting part of our church mates. it's super hilarious. the whole thing is just so cute by itself. Bao Gong is supposed to be fair, but this act makes his decisions based on God. he claimed that he's God's servant? ya. haha. then when it comes to judgement, it's becomes and oath kind of thing whereby Bao Gong asked the character who did wrong if he is willing to accept Christ into his life. this scene by itself is funny and cute to me. (: yep.

i like the singing part of the last fellowship that presented. the song that they sang "I Have Decided To Follow Jesus" moved me alot. it made me ponder alot too. the lyrics goes like this:

I have decided, to follow Jesus.
I have decided, to follow Jesus.
I have decided, to follow Jesus.
No turning back,
No turning back.
the world behind me, the Cross before me...

these are the very words that moved me to tears. i find it hard to utter these very words because i find it hard to commit to Jesus because i tend to fall. and i am really amazed how these people sang it with joy in their hearts. though they didn't pronounce the words properly because the people are from China, they looked as if they are really convicted that they have made the decision and they seemed steadfast in their stand. but it really made me think deeper.

i really wonder if they feel it in hearts as well, to be truly convicted of what they are singing because this commitment is not easy as it is something of a lifetime. the tough part is the part on sanctification, where u live your life daily becoming more like Him. and it just makes me think of the long journey we christians will go through together with the Lord in this lifetime. the refining of our souls, which is painful, as well as the joy, when someone new accepted Christ. (: sometimes i really wanna ask the new believers whether they know that they'll be committing their whole lives to God from the time they accept Christ and to go through this journey together.

perhaps they might not know it as they are new and it led me to think of the how God may work in them slowly. they might be playful now, but God somehow has the way to make them grow just by going to church to listen and study His word. and through these, he actually grows to love the Lord more and then embark on his sanctification journey. this was how i grow actually. there are adults who went through the same way as me when they were younger. (:

I fell once, and i pray that i will not fall again
by thy mercy and grace, i pray that u will forgive me.
let me treasure this time with You, Lord, in these single years i have
For it's a gift that i have.

Why i say NO to BGR. (:

I find it hard to convey to you guys, so yea, I'll just let the bible speak.(:

"I have been crucified with Christ and i no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life i live in the body, i live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." [Galatians 2:20]

"We demolish arguements and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." [2 Corinthians 10:5]

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge but fools despise wisdom and discipline." [Proverbs 1:7]

"being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Jesus Christ." [Philippians 1:6]

"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us." [Romans 8:37]

"The spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. Now if we are God's children, then we are heirs- heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory." [Romans 8:16-17]

"But if anyone obeys His words, God's love is truly made complete in Him. This is how we know we are in Him." [1 John 2:5]

thank you so much for understanding. (:
