hello.
sorry for not updating so like... so long, ahaha, but i guess i was going through many situations and i was emotionally unstable. thank God everything was ok already. (: and yes, i got into MI (Millennia Institute). and i felt like i'm in MI for a mission like i was in Bowen, for and with God. (: i totally didn't expect myself to be in MI actually. i thought i would be working for and with God with someone in MI, but then things are different as well. and i didn't expect that also. so i'm alone fighting the battle, which i gain full confidence when i talked to Wai Ling today during our walk to Albeit Park's macs to meet Yan Ling as well. (:
today was my 1st orientation day in MI, which i thought it was just enrolment which is foronly a day, until Yu'an told me that skool is officially starting. this unawareness resulted in many conflicts, but then, things went well i guess. (: and my OGL is Tze Kiat. ahaha. and he arrived 5-10 mins later than the other OGLs and i couldn't find my group (Cyrus 3) lah. ahaha. but he's not late as a whole, because if he did, he will be in detention already. (: hmm... and the OIC is kind of handsome and he might be the president of the student council students this year. how come all the "top leaders" are all handsome in all skools? dun understand lah. but i'm not interested. ahaha. and Tze Kiat looked like... look like... erm. hahah. the theme of my orientation is "Super Novation". they said that it contains Super Nova and Evolution. -_- ahaha. our clan need 2 mascotts (i dunno how to spell) which we have to name them with something to do with "Super Novation". when someone from the OGLs called on our indivudual group, we have to shout something. for clans the same thing too.
anyway, had lots of talks regarding subjects and stuff and the OG package is expensive! $12! argh.. and i received only a booklet on the plans of these 4 days. ahaha. and i still have to pay $8 for the student handbook. ahaha. ok. all are natural anyway, u have to pay every start of the year. i guess the OG package consist of a t-shirt also. (: and i'm gonna take XS! or maybe S. ahaha. saw the OGLs did the MI dance. and i'm dying to do that too! i can't wait for tomorrow! ahaha. it's not all that cool style with cool moves like some schools, but it's more of the
cha cha dance. (: with this song
I Need To Know by Marc Anthony. and this song kept playing in my head for the whole of today. lol. and everyone has to find a partner of the opposite gender to dance with and they dun pair u up. ahaha. the whole dance seemed so
romantic. heez.
well, get to know Pei Ling today and she became my partner for today. met someone called Joleen also. and Jasmine, James- the super high and loud guy during cheers, which kind of remind meof Joram :P, and Aisha. there are those in my group whom i still haven't talk to, like Asykin (i guess this is how her name was spelled), Rachel, Melvin, Aliff etc. ahaha. and my group has lesser guys again. haha.
nah, i guess i'm not gonna go into BGR this few months yet, due to Farhan and Ariff (my colleagues), but i kind of miss my job as i dun wanna leave my colleagues as our relationship with all my other colleagues are getting better just before the starting of school. but i know i can return there to work during my holidays. (: i love my job now lah. ahaha. so even if i'm unempolyed, i know at least i will still have a job. (: and speaking of jobs, i love working in "attachments", whereby u still work in Long John's, but in different places like Plaza Singapura or Far East and Orchard Cineleisure. ahaha. i get to know more people and i like building rapport with them. surprisingly, i like talking to customers too. (: met 2 of the staffs, who were in retraining in Orchard Cenileisure, in Far East and Plaza Singapura during attachments. Belle and Khairul respectively.and i pretty like all the managers in the different places. (: and the staffs and mangers treated each other as friends. (: sad to say, but Long John Silver lack workers. so if any of you don't mind working there, then you can consider to join the crew. (: i didn't expect myself to be in Long John's also, but i guess it's the job perspective that is totally different. i kept having the thought that people work for the sake of money, but then Long John's proved me wrong. the staffs continued to work there because of the relationship with the other coleagues over there, and they felt the sense of belonging. (: thank God that i managed to glorify God in my work. (: and of course, working in Novena's Long John's allowed me to know people from other shops that are near my workplace too. staffs from City Chain's, Goldheart Jewellery's, KFC, and The Body Shop. (: right. so i guess i shall go on with my new journey ahead with dependence on the Lord as well, to even be brave to face different people of different backgrounds. (: i hope that u enjoy yourselves in your new environment too! (:
haiz... i still need to think of the subject combination, but i've more or less decided already. and i think i'm totally not cut out to take econs even though it is fun. ahaha. and the teacher who presented the econs subject was so sad because the school is trying to minimise the combination with econs in it. ahaha. she said: "there is still hope in taking this subject lah...." wah... i really sympathise with her. ahaha. anyway, she still called us to consider carefully to what we really should take. cos we have to adapt to the jargon and stuff, and seriously, i dun understand when they used the parallel examples using the normal english and the jargon language. ahaha. i actually wanted to try the "mock class" for business management and econs, but i have to meet Wai Ling and Yan Ling. (: ahaha.
